Personally-identifiable information (“PII”) may include but is not limited to, your email address, name, phone number, postal address, other information (“Personal Information”).

For example, a user may consent for the Service to use PII for a single use (e.g. one-time use of email address to receive a free PDF) or for multiple uses. Multiple-use consent can be adjusted at any time, and users always have a right to withdraw consent for any or all of multiple uses of PII.
Why is this information is being collected, and why is it needed?
We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Service, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, and improving our services. We make every effort to collect the minimum amount of PII needed to fulfill these purposes (e.g. first name and email address). More PII may be required to complete transactions and fulfill contracts (e.g. last name, billing address), or for other legitimate interest like legal obligations.
We may use your PII to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us.
For how long will my PII be kept?
PII will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes specified above. PII can be completely removed from our records upon request unless otherwise required by law (e.g. tax records). PII will also occasionally be purged from our records per the Document Retention Policy of Where Is The Damn Corkscrew, LLC, which is available upon request in response to a reasonable and appropriate inquiry.
PII is often kept in multiple software systems for the purposes of fulfilling different business purposes. One of these software systems is Google Sheets, a Google Drive product, where PII is backed up regularly to ensure redundancy.
How is this information safeguarded? What will happen in the case of a security breach that impacts PII?

Where Is The Damn Corkscrew, LLC offers a resource guide for educational and informational purposes. To write my articles, I use my experiences, the experiences of others and various other resources including the wild and wonderful Internet, etiquette books, and Magic 8 balls. (Kidding. But maybe not.) That said, my advice doesn’t come with any guarantees. By visiting this site, you’re essentially signing a contract that says that you understand that I make no guarantees, and you won’t try to sue me or report me to Martha Stewart. Because that would be awkward.
I’m an expert at what I do. I’ve got the street cred. The experience. The skills. And the qualifications. However, we should probably give a group nod to the fact that I am not a licensed psychologist or counselor or full-time event planning professional, and my services don’t replace the care of counselors or full-time event professionals. With that comes the standard eye-glaze inducing disclaimer that, no, I cannot actually guarantee the outcome of our coaching efforts and/or recommendations on
my website or blog or email series or webinars, and my comments about the outcome are expressions of (my very personal) opinion only.
If you have any questions about this Disclaimer, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
